The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Specialist for our Digital Marketing team who will play a key role in executing paid social campaigns across diverse platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience from either an agency or in-house position, demonstrating a solid track record of successful campaign strategies and execution with an audience-first approach. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including IT and Analytics, and is process-oriented to support the growth of our programs.

The Work Itself

  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring timely reconciliations and forecasting future expenditures.
  • Update monthly marketing metrics scorecards.
  • Monitor advertising rates displayed on Ally Bank's digital platforms daily.
  • Conduct monthly audits of Campaign Manager to ensure adherence to approved marketing processes.
  • Coordinate marketing and creative governance processes and quarterly agency SOW reconciliations.
  • Execute and manage all purchase orders and requisitions for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist Marketing Managers with presentation development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Hands-on optimization and execution of Ally's Paid Social Media programs across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Execute daily targeting tactics, including custom audience creation and budget management using social platform interfaces.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights proactively to ensure positive performance across campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize the value of programs.
  • Support set-up processes for tracking and reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain testing plans to enhance investment value and traffic, sharing insights with brand and media teams.
  • Focus on continual learning to advance knowledge of online advertising and competitive trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in online paid social roles such as campaign analyst or media buyer.
  • Experience with ad tech and online analytics tools is highly recommended.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with Tableau and SQL.
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Base Pay Range:

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. We offer pay ranges that include:

Emerging: 70,000

Experienced: 95,000

Expert: 120,000

This position is also eligible for our annual incentive plan.
