Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the e-commerce platform.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify new product opportunities.
- Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements, user stories, and wireframes.
- Prioritize product backlog and manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on products to improve outcomes.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather input and communicate product vision.
- Champion customer needs and advocate for features that enhance the online shopping experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-commerce.
- Manage the product lifecycle, including feature enhancements and end-of-life planning.
- Lead and mentor junior product managers or product owners.
- Facilitate A/B testing and other experiments to validate product hypotheses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce technologies, user experience principles, and online retail dynamics.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data analysis and using metrics to drive product decisions.
