Senior Finance and Accountant

About the role
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, which includes general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations. Additionally, you will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will also handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, perform bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards. Your role will involve assisting with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and coordinating with internal and external auditors during audits. Furthermore, you will review financial data, prepare reports for management, monitor internal controls, and improve accounting processes. When required, you will supervise junior accountants or accounting staff.
Key Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
The company offers a monthly salary ranging from 35,000.00 to 40,000.00 with additional benefits including Provident Fund. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting. The work location is in Goregaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra, and is required to be in person.
