Embark on an exciting career with Oracle's Corporate Accounting team, a vital part of our esteemed World Class Finance organization. This innovative group consists of around 30 dedicated financial professionals responsible for Oracle's external reporting, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities, all while integrating cutting-edge practices.
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Director and advising board members on compliance matters and the protection of Oracle's interests. You will actively engage in:
- Facilitating financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in accordance with US GAAP for legal entities.
- Collaborating with the Global Controllers Organization on the integration of acquired entities.
- Analyzing financial performance to identify risks and opportunities for operational enhancements.
- Ensuring compliance with Oracle's policies to preserve shareholder value.
What You Bring
- A Chartered Accountant qualification is essential.
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration; an MBA is a plus.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in multinational companies or top-tier public accounting firms.
- Hands-on experience with corporate accounting, consolidation processes, and intercompany transactions is preferred.
- A detail-oriented mindset, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems, with Oracle Financials being an advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and work effectively across diverse teams.
- Project Management skills to initiate and drive improvements within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in close cycles to ensure timely and accurate US GAAP financial reporting.
- Prepare entries related to reorganizations of acquired entities.
- Support Compliance and governance initiatives across various financial entities.
- Collaborate with diverse teams including Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit to optimize operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Act as a mentor and reference point for team members while facilitating knowledge sharing.
Be ready to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Note that availability to work in alignment with USA time zones is required.
