As a Senior Financial Analyst at HP, Inc. focusing on Worldwide Returns, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for new Financial Flows implementation related to returns across all markets. - Acting as the SME for any new Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes. - Standardizing financial processes across three regions. - Leading a team of 5 individuals. - Serving as the primary contact for returns business and Asian Markets leads. - Ensuring compliance within the SMC group. - Providing cost reduction proposals.
Your role will involve: - Providing complex financial analysis for a financial function or business, using a strong understanding of the business to determine the best approach to achieve objectives. - Consulting with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making. - Leading business initiatives and guiding analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance. - Identifying opportunities for process improvement and policy development. - Representing the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes. - Forecasting financial results within a broad scope.
Qualifications required for this role: - First level university degree with a focus in finance; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a financial analyst. - Experience in more than one finance function.
Key skills and knowledge: - Excellent understanding of accounting principles. - Expertise in financial systems and processes in multiple areas. - Strong analytical skills. - Proficiency in business applications such as Microsoft Excel. - Effective communication and influencing skills. - Business acumen and project management skills.
