Senior Frontend Engineer

Position Summary

As a Senior FrontEnd Engineer you will be responsible for building and maintaining highly responsive visually appealing and mobileoptimized user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with the product design and backend teams to develop modern scalable web applications that cater to gig workers. This role demands a high level of ownership attention to detail and a pion for delivering bestincl user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend architecture: Design and build reusable components responsive layouts and clean user interfaces using React JS.

• Ensure crossbrowser compatibility and performance: Optimize applications for maximum speed scalability and crossbrowser functionality.

• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers: Work closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to translate design mockups and wireframes into highquality code.

• Implement best practices: Ensure the use of frontend best practices including accessibility security and performance optimization.

• Write clean maintainable and tele code: Deliver code that is modular reusable and adheres to coding standards with a focus on scalability.

• Mentor junior engineers: Provide guidance mentorship and technical leadership to junior frontend engineers in the team.

• Stay updated on frontend trends: Keep up with the latest frontend development technologies and frameworks making recommendations to improve efficiency and user experience.

• Collaborate in the full product lifecycle: Participate in all phases of product development from ideation and design through implementation testing and deployment.

Requirements • 5 years of experience in frontend development building and maintaining complex web applications.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) HTML5 and CSS3.

• Handson experience with React

• Strong knowledge of frontend development tools such as Webpack Babel npm/yarn and version control (Git).

• Experience with responsive design principles and the ability to implement designs that scale across devices and platforms.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.

• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools (e.g. Lighthouse Google PageSpeed).

• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and how to work closely with designers to build userfriendly interfaces.

• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest Cypress Mocha) and writing unit/integration tests for frontend components.

• Strong communication and teamwork ss with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Familiarity with TypeScript.

• Experience working with GraphQL.Knowledge of mobilefirst development approaches and experience with React Native or similar technologies for mobile app development.
