Your Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer / Platform Engineer (m/f/d) to actively develop and scale our data platform and digital portal in mechanical engineering. In this key role, you will work at the interface of ERP, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehouse, ensuring that data-driven decisions are possible throughout the company.

Our platform is used daily by management, project managers, and shop floor teams – your code has a direct impact on real processes and results. You will work closely with the IT Director and take end-to-end ownership of central features – from idea to productive deployment.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development (Next.js, React, FastAPI): Implementation of modern web applications from frontend to database (Oracle)
• Backend & Data Integration: Building and operating Python-based ETL pipelines (e.g., PSIpenta ERP, Salesforce, other systems)
• Database Development: Creation and optimization of SQL and PL/SQL logic on Oracle 19c
• Business Intelligence: Support in expanding Power BI dashboards for data-based insights
• DevOps: Working with Kubernetes, Argo CD, GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus, including responsibility for stable CI/CD processes
• ERP Customizing: Adjustments in the ERP system (e.g., Groovy, UI extensions in PSIpenta, approx. 20%)
• Innovation & AI: Further development of modern development processes (e.g., AI-supported workflows, multi-agent systems)

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on:
  • Frontend: Next.js, React
  • Backend: Python, FastAPI
• Sound knowledge of SQL, ideally PL/SQL, and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle)
• Ideally, know-how in Kubernetes and CI/CD tools (e.g., Argo CD, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with ERP systems (PSIpenta, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) including customizing
• Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling
• Interest in AI-supported software development and modern engineering approaches
• Independent, structured way of working and ability to implement features end-to-end
