Senior IaC System Engineer - DevOps & Cloud Fokus (m/w/d)

Salary: CHF115,000 - 135,000

Role:

In this role, you will take responsibility for the stable, secure, and scalable operation of the internal system landscape and cloud platform. You will administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, manage Atlassian Jira and Confluence as a functional owner, and ensure efficient, secure integrations between internal tools and external systems. You will develop and operate modern AWS infrastructures with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly with Terraform, and establish reusable standards and modules. You will implement and improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high reliability and performance of the platform. As an experienced cloud and system engineer, you will independently define and implement roadmaps for continuous improvements and work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• You will take responsibility for the administration and continuous improvement of our Microsoft 365 environment, including user and license management.
• In this role, you will design and manage Jira and Confluence, advise teams on workflows, and implement governance standards.
• You will develop and operate secure, reliable integrations between internal tools and external systems to optimize processes and data flows.
• As an experienced cloud and system engineer, you will work closely with the engineering team on the setup, operation, and further development of our AWS infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• You will design, implement, and improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines to increase stability, performance, and automation.
• In this role, you will largely independently define and implement an improvement plan for internal tools and cloud infrastructure and clearly document and communicate changes.

Qualifications:

• You have several years of demonstrable experience in operating and optimizing cloud infrastructures on AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• You are proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches, including modular design, separate environments, and automated pipelines.
• You have a solid understanding of DevOps principles, especially CI/CD, observability, automation, and release management.
• You have experience in administering Microsoft 365 at the tenant level, including user and license lifecycle, role and group management, and integrations.
• You have practical experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, including workflow design, governance standards, and cross-team enablement.
• You work independently, can define roadmaps, and largely plan and successfully implement improvements on your own.
• Fluent German.
