Terraform IaC Development for AWS & Aviatrix

About

The resource will be responsible for designing and delivering a scalable, repeatable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) framework using Terraform to support network deployments across AWS and Azure, with a focus on Aviatrix managed environments. This includes the development of modular, reusable Terraform components to provision, update, and maintain Aviatrix network infrastructure such as transit gateways, spoke gateways, VPC/VNet constructs, and associated routing and security configurations.

Responsibilities

• Creation of standardized, reusable Terraform modules to support consistent multi-environment deployments (e.g., dev, staging, production).
• Implementation of infrastructure workflows that support both greenfield deployments and incremental updates to existing environments.
• Integration of Terraform code into GitHub repositories with version control best practices, including branching strategies and code review processes.
• Development of automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to validate, plan, and apply Terraform changes in a controlled and auditable manner.
• Establishment of naming conventions, tagging standards, and state management strategies (e.g., remote backends, locking).
