Senior Integration Architect (Java, Spring Boot, Kafka) onsite in Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

About the Role

Seeking an experienced SE4 to design and deliver scalable, high-quality microservices solutions using MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (OCP – OpenShift container platform), with strong expertise in service and workflow orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Embrace fast, efficient, and accurate delivery pipelines and leverage AI-assisted rapid development solutions such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, including effective prompt engineering.
• Requires exposure to Teradata and Oracle database query strategies, along with Generative AI awareness and Agentic AI exposure to support modern engineering practices.
• Strong communication skills, ability to lead story generation and prioritization, and effective cross-team collaboration are essential.
• This is a high-ownership role influencing architecture, reliability, production stability, resiliency, and performance across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (OCP).
• Strong expertise in service and workflow orchestration.
• Exposure to Teradata and Oracle database query strategies.
