Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, a Swiss vocational training with a certificate of proficiency/diploma, or equivalent practical experience in IT infrastructure, system and cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or a comparable field.
• You have sound hands-on experience with hybrid Microsoft infrastructures (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, virtualization, storage, backup, workplace infrastructure) and reliably automate tasks with PowerShell.
• You are very familiar with Microsoft Entra ID, Zero Trust architectures, least privilege access, phishing-resistant authentication, and joiner/mover/leaver processes and access governance.
• You have proven experience in Microsoft Security Operations with Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), including alert triage, investigation workflows, tracking measures, and continuous improvement of detections.
• You have practical experience in backup readiness, disaster recovery, support for incident response activities, recovery tests, system reconstruction, and sustainable improvements after security incidents.
• You have in-depth know-how in secure network and connectivity services (segmentation, remote access, firewall/perimeter services, operation across multiple locations), combine a strong hands-on mentality with architectural understanding, and communicate very confidently in English.

Responsibilities

• You operate and optimize fault-tolerant hybrid cloud platforms across Azure, storage, databases, backups, and workplace infrastructure.
• In this role, you will shape the IT infrastructure architecture and lead infrastructure and security projects.
• As an IT infrastructure and security specialist, you will develop and operate identity and access management according to Zero Trust principles with Microsoft Entra ID.
• You are responsible for Security Operations with Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel, including tuning, alert triage, use case development, and continuous improvement of detections.
• In this role, you will operationally manage security incidents, coordinate incident response measures, and derive sustainable improvements after incidents.
• Together with the IT team, you will ensure backup readiness, recovery tests, and secure, well-documented network and perimeter services to support business continuity.
