Senior IT Solutions Engineer

Your role in the team

• Further development and optimization of existing IT systems as well as continuous process improvement – together in a well-coordinated, dynamic team.
• Implementation of new functionalities with Python (as well as selectively SAP-ABAP and SAP RE-FX) in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Support in the introduction and implementation of modern cloud solutions.
• Assumption of the interface function between IT and business units, including analysis of requirements and development of practical solutions.
• Ensuring stable IT operations including 1st- and 2nd-level support as well as maintenance and further development of the existing IT landscape (Jira Cloud).

Qualifications

• Interest in modern technologies, especially in the field of cloud computing, and initial exposure to AI/automation are advantageous.
• Very good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Understanding of operational processes as well as the ability to translate requirements from the business units into technical solutions.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style combined with organizational talent and team skills.

Experience

• Several years of professional experience in the IT environment, ideally in the development and maintenance of applications and systems.
• Solid programming skills, particularly in Python, and ideally experience with SAP ABAP and SAP RE-FX.
• Experience in handling complex IT landscapes as well as solid knowledge in 1st and 2nd level support.

Education

• Completed IT education (e.g., HTL, FH, university) or a comparable qualification - motivated career changers with relevant experience are also welcome.
