Senior / Lead Data Analyst (Global market Experience)

The Global Markets Data Analytics department focuses on enhancing data quality and analytics capabilities within the organization. The team collaborates closely with various departments, including Sales, Trading, and IT, to ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights. The team is responsible for managing data from various sources, including Mopani, Refinitiv, Bloomberg, and others, to support electronic trading and market analysis.

• *Job Description / Responsibilities:**

The Senior / Lead Data Analyst is responsible for rebuilding and delivering analytics in Global Markets using approved strategic fundamental data assets. The role focuses on delivering an internally built FX and FI analytics capability within Amazon Quick Sight by strictly following internal design and building documentation, supporting the transition to a fully internal analytics solution. In addition to hands on analytics development, the role provides lead level ownership across solution design,

stakeholder engagement, data quality assurance, and delivery oversight. The Senior / Lead Analyst acts as a bridge between the delivery team and the Head of Analytics,

contributing to broader analytics initiatives, standards, and priorities as required.

Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. • *Experience:**

o Minimum 5-10 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, quantitative analysis.

o Proven experience working in complex financial systems and applications (e.g., trading platforms, payment systems,

risk management systems).

o Strong understanding of financial products, capital markets, derivatives, and treasury operations.

o Hands-on experience with coding in Python, and the use of visualization tools

• *Must-have Skills (Mandatory Skills):** • Include minimum years of experience required per skill

Technical Skills

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, quantitative analysis Proven experience working in complex financial systems and applications (e.g., trading platforms, payment systems, risk management systems).

5-10 years’ experience in Senior stakeholder engagement and product ownership.

5-10 years’ experience in SQL, Python, AWS, and Quicksight;

experience working with databases for data analysis

Knowledge of statistical and ML techniques

5-10 years' experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Azure

Devops (ADO), ServiceNow), change management tools, and test management tools (e.g., Qmetry).

Hands-on experience with coding in Python, and the use of visualization tools

5+ years of experience within Global Markets
