Senior Network Solution Architect (w/m/d)

Our client in the IT infrastructure and network security sector is looking for experienced support to actively shape the future of its network landscape. Your Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of modern network and security architectures with a focus on automation and scalability
• Participation in infrastructure transformation through integration of automation and monitoring solutions (e.g., Ansible, Python, REST APIs)
• Analysis and optimization of network protocols and data flows – using tools like Wireshark, Riverbed, or similar
• Project support from conception to rollout – including management of external partners
• Taking responsibility for 3rd-level support and active participation in internal process design
• Participation in on-call duty is also part of the scope of tasks

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in operating and planning complex network and security infrastructures
• Profound understanding of:
  • Network protocols
  • Segmentation
  • Security architectures (CCNP or CCIE level)
• Practical experience with automated network management and monitoring, as well as analysis of network traffic and security incidents
• Advantageous: Certifications (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto) – especially experience with FortiGate firewalls
• Completed IT degree or comparable qualification
• Team spirit, openness, and the motivation to develop things together
