Senior Network Engineer (m/w/d)

Introduction & Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on enterprise networks and firewalls. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, analysis, and further development of complex network infrastructures in highly secure and regulated environments. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of modern network architectures, a strong understanding of security and segmentation concepts, and works in a solution-oriented manner, closely collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Operation and analysis of complex networks
• Working with switches, routers, and firewalls
• Implementation of segmentation and security concepts
• Understanding and use of Spanning-Tree mechanisms
• Participation in highly regulated and security-critical environments

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise networks (e.g., Aruba or comparable manufacturers)
• Very good systemic understanding of network architectures and protocols
• Experience with network security solutions and firewalls
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Fluent German language skills (min. C1)
• Teamwork skills as well as an independent and solution-oriented way of working

Due to the work in security-critical environments, a security check (SÜ2) may be required.
