Role Overview

We are now looking for a Senior Packaging Engineer to join our team in Nefab Son. As Senior Packaging Engineer you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative, sustainable packaging solutions tailored to customer needs. You will work closely with sales, production, and clients, playing a key role in complex engineering projects.

This position is located in Son, and you will report to the manager Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative packaging solutions using materials such as wood, corrugated, foam, and steel
• Develop CAD drawings, assembly instructions, and bill of materials
• Analyze transport, storage, and structural requirements
• Lead engineering projects and coordinate tasks across teams
• Support and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams on technical requirements
• Optimize packaging for cost efficiency and sustainability
• Work with suppliers and sourcing teams

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.
• Minimum 5 years of CAD experience (SolidWorks, IronCAD, NX, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with packaging materials is a plus.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Fluent in English.
