Objectives and Deliverables

Cloud Platform Engineering Teams As a future Digital Giant, we need to build solid foundations for its services. Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE), a collaborative initiative launched in 2020, aims to achieve this. CPE is cross-functional across all domains and countries. It consists of teams focused on Developer Experience, providing technical solutions to accelerate development and ensure the stability/scalability of our applications, Networks, Observability, and FinOps. Its main objectives are to rationalize the catalog of technical products referenced within the group AND to provide "turnkey" services for application teams, allowing them to focus on developing value-added features. The 3S Stack team you will join is responsible for advising application teams on their application design, providing infrastructure solutions, and proposing a technical stack that includes all the prerequisites (Security, Networks, Monitoring, etc.) for Decathlon, while leaving developers autonomy on the rest (via a predefined and automated catalog). All our hosting is already in the Cloud. The goal now is to ensure that we fully utilize the capabilities of Cloud Providers (#cloudnative). We are looking for a profile to strengthen the existing team and lead the implementation of Vault in 3S.
