Your role in the team

• The Senior Platform Engineer (m/f/d) is an experienced technical key role within MD Hosting.
• In this position, you will be responsible for the continuous development, secure and stable operation, as well as the technical excellence of our hosting platforms and infrastructure services.
• As a Senior Platform Engineer (m/f/d), you ensure the highly available, secure, and stable operation of our platforms.
• In this role, you will work closely with Product, Security, Architecture, and Support to continuously develop our platforms—with a clear focus on automation, reliability, and security-by-design.
• Development and operation of scalable platforms (Cloud, Container, Network)
• Ensuring stable 24/7 operation including monitoring & performance
• Automation with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD
• Implementation of Observability (Monitoring, Logging, Tracing)
• Incident Management, Troubleshooting, and Continuous Optimization
• Close collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Security
