Senior Platform Engineer – Kubernetes (w/m/d)

Employment Type: Full-time Working Hours: 38 hours/week Contract Type: Unlimited Start Date: Immediately

What to look forward to

• Software installation and introduction of new operating systems and OS-related software in the Linux environment
• Maintenance, care, and further development of server/software systems and the middleware architecture based on microservices
• Development of efficient solutions for the systems
• Setup and continuous quality control as well as further development of the container management platform OpenShift
• Development of concepts for the integration of new container solutions using Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Support and consultation for IT-relevant projects and second-level support for all IT areas
• Development of architecture and operating concepts

Your Profile

• Completed degree in computer science/mathematics or a comparable field of study, or several years of professional experience in the area of responsibility
• Sound knowledge in the Linux environment, including high-availability solutions
• Experience in setting up and operating container management solutions – ideally OpenShift
• Good knowledge in the areas of Kubernetes (OpenShift), PaaS, DevOps, GitOps, and IaC
• Very good understanding of basic IT security concepts and web architectures
• Strong innovation capability and openness to new technological developments
• Fluent German language skills (at least C1 level)
