Role Overview
As a Wastewater Modeller, you will manage a diverse range of sewerage‑related projects that deliver sustainable benefits to communities and the environment through public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise modellers in integrating hydraulic modelling (1D‑2D) with engineering aspects of the project.
- Train modellers to understand engineering constraints and opportunities to ensure realistic model outputs.
- Influence delivery teams to adopt smarter methods by developing automation tools while maintaining high quality.
- Manage project teams and client relationships, clarifying expectations and outcome measures to meet requirements and deliver successful projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Geography.
- 12+ years of experience in hydraulic design or modelling.
- In‑depth knowledge or experience with tools such as InfoWorks ICM, MapInfo, QGIS, SewerGEMS, HEC‑RAS, MicroDrainage, or similar.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to new or challenging work as per business requirements.
