As a part of the Technical Strategy Oversight team (TSO) within OCI, your role will involve maximizing customer choice and transparency while delivering high-value cloud solutions. Your Responsibilities:

As a visionary technical leader, you will execute large-scale system designs and deliver complex solutions for emerging OCI services: • A key value store that is a fully managed, serverless NoSQL database offering fast and scalable performance with minimal latency. • A journaling service that captures immutable logs of transactions, optimized for scalability and low-latency responses.

You will mentor senior engineers, align cross-team strategies, and drive the delivery of mission-critical services. Your technical expertise will shape architecture and enhance operational outcomes across product, engineering, and executive teams.

Qualifications: • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience). • Over 10 years of experience in delivering distributed cloud services at scale. • Proficiency in C/C++ with a willingness to work in Rust. • Experience with high-concurrency systems and performance-critical design. • Familiarity with technologies like Filesystem Journalling, High Performance Distributed Storage, Write-Ahead Logging, and consensus algorithms such as Raft and Paxos. • A strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills. • Adept in fast-paced development environments and capable of quick learning. • Proven mentorship skills with the ability to guide engineering teams.

Salary Range: The U.S. hiring range is $96,800 to $251,600 per annum, possibly including bonuses and equity.
