Roles and Responsibility

• The Production Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and controlling manufacturing processes within the packaging facility to ensure products are produced efficiently on time within quality standards and at optimal cost
• Plan organize and manage daily production activities to meet output quality and delivery targets
• Supervise production supervisors shift leaders and shop-floor teams
• Ensure optimal utilization of machines manpower and materials
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures SOPs
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure machine readiness
• Ensure compliance with quality standards ISO GMP customer specifications etc
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives Lean 5S Kaizen Six Sigma etc
• Manage production budgets and control manufacturing costs

Requirements

• Knowledge of production planning scheduling and inventory control
• Familiarity with packaging machinery and automation systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Manufacturing Industrial Management or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing preferably in the packaging industry
• Strong understanding of packaging materials paper plastic flexible packaging corrugated etc
• Ability to commute/relocate Sivakasi Tamil Nadu
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
• Required Experience: Packaging industry manufacturing 5 years
• Required Work Location: In person
