Senior Program Manager, Data Center Construction

About The Job
As a Program Manager, you have demonstrated experience with data center design, development, construction and commissioning projects. You will provide management of large-scale data centers, computer farms, networking, AC and DC power distribution/conversion, and cooling methods at multiple scales. You will be tasked with managing and coordinating the desires and needs of multiple partner teams, while managing changes and maintaining a focus on keeping the project on schedule and budget. You will have experience managing large‑scale technical projects in a changing industry, ability to grow in ambiguity and demonstrated problem‑solving leadership with limited oversight. You should be able to conceptualize and describe the delivery of a data center facility from start to commissioning and understand the nuances and risks that you and your team will need to manage.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience within the industry including data centers, oil and gas, semi conductors or hospitals.
- 8 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
- 5 years of experience with construction management.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 years of experience managing cross‑functional/team projects.
- 8 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems, with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes.
- 7 years of experience with data center construction.
Responsibilities
- Manage data center projects from inception through to completion.
- Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility.
- Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer needs.
- Maintain responsibility from construction to deployment.
- Resolve critical issues within the organization while maintaining adherence to project timelines and costs.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $189,000‑$274,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Location & Work Arrangement
- This position requires onsite work 5 days a week.
