Job Title Senior Progress Open Edge and OO IT Software Developers/ Engineers – JHB or Cape Town Employment Type & Location Permanent position. Must live in JHB or Cape Town. Will be working remotely. Qualifications • Must have a Matric Certificate. • Must have an IT Software Degree or similar Degree OR other Qualifications related. Professional Experience & Skills • Minimum 8 years working experience as an IT Software Engineer/Developer. • Experience using Progress Open Edge (OE11 or later). • Experience with OO (Object Oriented) Programming and web experience, APIs and REST calls. • SDLC Working Experience is essential. • Agile experience is beneficial. • Experience training new junior Software developers (who would report to you). Client Interaction External Clients could be national and international. Salary & Benefits Monthly salary is dependent on relevant experience and current salary earned.
Note: A pension fund of between 4% – 11% of your monthly salary will be deducted.
NB: The company does not contribute to the pension fund.
