We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for keeping clients informed of clinical trial progress, preparation of study quotations and contracts at Pharma Medica Research Inc. (PMRI ). This position reports to the Manager, Project Management and/or designate.

Responsibilities

  • Focus of the position is to ensure the timely delivery of project progress reports and results to PMRI clients.
  • Communicate with clients to keep them aware of study progress and timeliness, and of PMRI’s commitments to meet deadlines and contract completion dates.
  • Requires the updating of computer information systems for scheduling and tracking all aspects of PMRI contracts.
  • Requires coordinating activities between various PMRI divisions, i.e., scheduling studies and obtaining dates for study milestones from applicable divisions.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of projects of assigned clients.
  • In cooperation with other PMRI personnel and possibly external consultants, provide timelines for protocol development.
  • Prepare documents for review by an external Ethics Review Board (ERB) and participate in the communication process between PMRI and the ERB.
  • Use standard procedures and formats to prepare and communicate to the Management draft study quotations for review, and subsequent approval by the President.
  • Manage the progress of assigned projects within PMRI in cooperation with the following key individuals or their delegates; VP, Clinical Operations, VP, Lab Operations, VP, Scientific Affairs, and VP, QA.
  • Interact with clients, potential clients and other PMRI personnel while securing business contracts for all divisions of PMRI, with a focus on the management of projects of the Phase I Clinic and Bioanalytical Laboratory divisions.
  • The contacts may, and will likely, include project management related to analytical method development, contract sample analyses aswell as for bioequivalence, bioavailability and ADME studies for generic and new chemical entities.
  • Attend selected scientific and commercial meetings and exhibitions, assisting PMRI personnel in the marketing of PMRI services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum B.Sc. degree
  • 2 - 3 Years' experience in a CRO ideally as Project Manager or any Client Services Department.
  • Excellent understanding of protocols and clients needs.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of working in a GCP environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Proven success in working with all levels of management
