Senior Project Manager responsible for overseeing large‑scale construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector. Primary role involves driving project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout all project phases. Position based at the GAIL India Ltd USAR site in Alibagh, Mumbai. Full‑time, on‑site role.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion.
• Scope & Budget Management: Define project timelines, budgets, and deliverables aligned with client needs and contractual requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead on‑site teams, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with project goals.
• Procurement Oversight: Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services while ensuring cost‑effectiveness.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential project risks and devise proactive solutions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities for successful project outcomes.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports, MIS updates, and project documentation as necessary.
• Project Handover: Ensure smooth project closure with final inspections and proper handover procedures.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Professional Experience: 7–15 years of experience managing large‑scale industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM, etc.
• Contract Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC or similar) and industry methodologies.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Regulatory & Safety Compliance: In‑depth knowledge of safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
