Senior Project Manager

About

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong SCADA and automation experience to support a major biopharmaceutical manufacturing client in Bend, Oregon. This role will lead automation-focused projects within a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring successful delivery of system implementation, upgrades, and integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution for SCADA, automation, and control systems
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risks in alignment with client expectations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including automation engineers, IT, validation, and operations
• Oversee system implementation, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and data integrity requirements
• Drive vendor coordination and integration activities
• Provide clear reporting to stakeholders and executive leadership
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) activities as they relate to automation systems

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in life sciences or regulated industries
• Strong experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, DCS, and industrial automation
• Proven track record managing automation/system integration projects
• Deep understanding of GMP environments and regulatory requirements
• Experience working in biotech, pharmaceutical, or biologics manufacturing
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification strongly preferred
• Experience supporting CQV activities for automation systems
• Familiarity with platforms such as DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens, or similar
• Experience with data integrity and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
