Senior Robotics ML Engineer | Isaac Sim & Cloud Simulation | Germany (Remote) | 6 months

Project Overview

A Robotics company is investing heavily in cloud-based simulation using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, making it a core part of their product offering. This role sits at the forefront of that initiative, leading the initial delivery and build-out of a scalable simulation environment, including DevOps, infrastructure, and integration with real-world robotic systems. You will take ownership of a standalone simulation programme, building robust foundations that will later be transitioned into the core engineering team.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and maintenance of Isaac Sim in cloud environments, including Dockerised, GPU-enabled, and headless deployments.
• Integrate Isaac Sim with ROS 1 and ROS 2, including bridge configuration and simulation time synchronisation.
• Develop and maintain robot models and simulation environments using USD formats.
• Troubleshoot and optimise simulation performance across physics, rendering, and sensor pipelines.
• Build and manage supporting infrastructure for map loading, robot resets, and full simulation instance management.
• Collaborate closely with robotics engineers to ensure alignment between simulation and real-world robot behaviour.
• Contribute to DevOps practices and automation for scalable, production-ready simulation environments.
