We are seeking a knowledgeable solutions architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, poised to guide our cloud product team in technical direction and business strategy. As a PLS Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in meeting product line revenue goals by crafting and implementing the corporate technical go-to-market strategy and overseeing essential pre-sales technical activities for key accounts across North America.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Rubrik, customers, and prospects, focusing on our cloud-native data protection solutions within the Cloud Unstructured Data and Universal Cloud Licensing platforms.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor for customers and serve as a subject matter expert on public cloud solutions, articulating Rubrik's capabilities to key accounts.
- Lead technical sales communications, gather and analyze customer feedback, and identify market trends.
- Assess sales opportunities based on customer technical needs, competitor analysis, decision-making processes, and funding criteria.
- Maintain ongoing communication with product management to ensure alignment of the product roadmap with customer demands.
- Assist in developing marketing and sales materials to guarantee alignment with client needs and ensure technical accuracy.
- Support the creation and delivery of technical training for Rubrik and partner sales teams.
- Drive the adoption of Rubrik's cloud-native protection technologies effectively within the broader public cloud community.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in a sales engineering role within Cloud and/or Unstructured Data environments, demonstrating a successful track record.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, private cloud infrastructure, or security solutions is highly desirable.
