Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Sales Manager / Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the industrial automation domain. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end sales, pre-sales consulting, client engagement, and execution support for automation projects involving PLC, SCADA, DCS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development • Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial automation. • Drive lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. • Manage complete sales cycle: lead → proposal → negotiation → closure. • Participate in pre-bid meetings, tendering, and contract negotiations. • Develop sales strategies and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Pre-Sales & Technical Consulting • Understand client requirements and propose customized automation solutions. • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOQs/BOMs, and cost estimations. • Provide pre-sales technical support and conduct client presentations/POCs. • Work closely with OEMs for solution design. .

Technical Expertise Required • Industrial Automation Systems: PLC, SCADA/DCS. • System Architecture & Control System Design • Industrial Communication Protocols • Networking & Cybersecurity basics (Firewalls, Industrial Networks) • Exposure to OEMs like Emerson, Siemens, Rockwell, Schnieder Electric etc. (preferred)

Key Skills • Strong technical sales & solution selling capability • Excellent client handling and negotiation skills • Proposal development & commercial understanding • Strategic thinking and execution ability • Cross-functional coordination

Preferred Experience • Experience in handling projects in sectors like: • Power & Utilities (Substations, SLDC, DMS) • Water & Wastewater • Oil & Gas / Energy • Infrastructure (Railways, Tunnels, Smart Systems)

Education • B.Tech / BE in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
