(Senior) Site Reliability & Security Engineer (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Site Reliability & Security Engineer (m/f/d) who lays the foundation for the reliable delivery of our services with a passion for IT security and system stability.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of complex cloud and on-premise infrastructures.
• Monitoring and analyzing systems and applications using modern monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Implementing and managing container orchestration solutions, especially with Kubernetes.
• Collaborating with development teams to optimize system availability and security through automation and best practices.
• Developing and maintaining monitoring dashboards, alerts, and performance monitoring tools for proactive problem identification.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of incident response and disaster recovery processes.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering or IT Security.
• Good knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring systems and applications.
• Experience in container orchestration (especially Kubernetes) and working with security frameworks.
• Knowledge in planning, implementing, and maintaining security measures in complex infrastructures.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative.
• Teamwork skills, strong communication abilities, and the willingness to continuously learn.
