About the role
Your Role
For our development team in the Public Authorities division, we are looking for your clever mind for one of our locations in Berlin, Bonn, Borchen, Dresden, Eschborn, Essen, Hamburg, Hannover, Ilmenau, Munich, Siegen, or Stuttgart as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
- Participation in the development of our network security products
- Software development and software integration on Linux-based systems
- Contribution to secure and maintainable software
- Execution of manual and automatic tests
- Close collaboration within the team
Your Profile
- A university or university of applied sciences degree in computer science or a comparable degree
- Several years of practical experience in software development
- Knowledge of Git/Gitlab for source code management
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux concepts for system programming
- Network knowledge such as TCP/IP (IPv4 and IPv6), routing, DHCP, Netfilter
- Proficiency in C
- Knowledge of C++, Python, Javascript, Unix Shell, SQL are advantageous
- Basic cryptographic knowledge (X.509 certificates, hash functions) is helpful
- Knowledge of Debian and systemd for software integration, Linux containers for component isolation are advantageous
- Knowledge in managing virtual machines (KVM) for test automation is helpful
- Very good German and good English skills round off your profile.
