The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI Solutions, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge AI initiatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your leadership will ensure innovative AI projects are delivered successfully and align with our business objectives.

The Main Responsibilities

• Lead the entire lifecycle of sophisticated conversational AI solutions, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Oversee AI projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Stay informed about advancements in AI and machine learning to drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning.
• Optimize AI models for performance and scalability, maintaining high quality standards.
• Document AI models, algorithms, and processes for transparency and reproducibility.
• Integrate conversational agents with backend APIs, databases like Firestore, and other platforms within the GCP ecosystem.
• Explore and implement advanced Generative AI features to enhance conversational intelligence.
• Establish MLOps practices for monitoring and maintaining conversational AI models on GCP.
• Design systems for collecting and analyzing IT telemetry data to proactivity monitor AI system health.
• Analyze and optimize conversational AI solutions for latency, accuracy, user satisfaction, and reliability.
• Share knowledge and contribute to best practices for conversational AI development within the organization.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python Programming.
• Experience with Dialogflow, Agent Builder, and conversational agents.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and MLOps practices.
• Backend API integration skills.

Non-Technical Skills:

• Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for responsible AI and ongoing commitment to industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with generative AI platforms on GCP to streamline AI application lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with components of modern AI infrastructure within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is based on national data and may vary by location. Individual pay will be determined by skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Salary Ranges:

• $129,639 - $172,852 in certain states;
• $136,121 - $181,494 in others;
• and $142,603 - $190,137 in states like CA, NY, and TX.
