Senior Software Engineering Manager

About the Role:

Alright Tech Software & Digital Innovation AG is seeking a highly experienced and innovation-driven Senior Software Engineering Manager to oversee software engineering operations, digital product development, and enterprise technology initiatives in Bern, Switzerland. This role focuses on leading engineering teams, managing scalable software systems, and driving digital innovation across modern technology and enterprise solution environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Engineering Leadership: Oversee software development operations, engineering workflows, and enterprise application delivery initiatives
• Technology Strategy Development: Define engineering roadmaps, software architecture strategies, and digital innovation frameworks
• Product Development Oversight: Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle processes including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and optimization
• Agile & Engineering Operations: Implement agile methodologies, sprint management, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices
• System Scalability & Security: Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance software systems and infrastructure environments
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product managers, UI/UX teams, infrastructure specialists, and executive stakeholders
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track software engineering KPIs, development efficiency metrics, product quality benchmarks, and operational performance indicators
• Technology Modernization Initiatives: Support cloud infrastructure adoption, enterprise system integration, and automation enhancement projects
• Team Leadership: Lead software engineers, QA specialists, DevOps personnel, technical architects, and engineering project teams

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Senior-level experience in software engineering management, enterprise software development, or digital technology leadership
• Skills: Strong technical leadership, software architecture expertise, and engineering operations management capabilities
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with cloud technologies, enterprise software systems, agile development environments, and digital innovation platforms
• Leadership: Ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and large-scale software operations
