Senior System Engineer

About

To strengthen the ICT Windows Platforms Engineering team, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Senior System Engineer. In this role, you will independently take on demanding technical work packages at the 3rd level and make a significant contribution to the further development and security of a modern hybrid Microsoft infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Transformation & hardening of hybrid Microsoft infrastructures (Windows Server up to 2025, Azure, M365)
• Implementation of security architectures (Active Directory Tier Model, PAW, PKI)
• Development and implementation of automation solutions (Azure Functions, PowerShell, REST/OData APIs)
• Orchestration of complex identity systems such as Adaxes, Omada, and Entra ID
• Responsibility as Principal Engineer for Windows Server Monitoring (Zabbix)
• Operational implementation of vulnerability management
• Application support: Technical maintenance, configuration, and regular updates of the ManageEngine Suite, the Adaxes automation platform, Zabbix monitoring, and the complete Microsoft Suite.
• Audit Support: Preparation of technical data and logs, and implementation of audit requirements
• Support services: Participation in on-call duty and ensuring stable 3rd-level operations

Requirements

• Mandatory certifications: Zabbix Certified Specialist, Microsoft AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate, and SC-300 Identity Administrator
• In-depth expertise in Microsoft Windows Server (up to version 2025), Active Directory Tier Model, Windows Failover Cluster Engineering
• Expert knowledge in Adaxes (Business Rules, Custom Commands), Omada Identity Management, Azure Control Plane & M365, OS Hardening, Zabbix & ManageEngine Suite
• Specialized knowledge in PKI & HSM, protocol analysis (Wireshark)
• Languages: German native / English fluent C1
