Wanted: Senior System Engineer Linux (m/f/d) for the location in Zug, ZG! Our client, a leading Swiss company, is looking for a motivated IT professional to strengthen the team. Become part of a dynamic work environment and contribute to mastering technical challenges and keeping systems running efficiently!

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and support of the Linux server environment (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Monitoring and performance optimization of systems using Zabbix and Red Hat Satellite
• Execution of automated server hardening based on current security guidelines (e.g., CIS benchmarks)
• Close collaboration with cloud teams (Azure), architects, and network and security specialists
• Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
• Processing and documentation of requests and fault messages in the ticket system

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship or successful degree in computer science or a related field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering Linux with sound knowledge in several of the following areas, preferably with relevant certifications:
  • Linux and/or UNIX operating systems
• Strong analytical skills for efficient error analysis, development of innovative solutions, and optimization of IT systems
• Very good German language skills
