Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree, a Swiss vocational training, a professional qualification/diploma, or equivalent practical experience in IT infrastructure, system and cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• You have proven practical experience with hybrid Microsoft infrastructures (including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, virtualization, storage, backup, workplace infrastructure) and are proficient in using PowerShell.
• You are knowledgeable in Microsoft Entra ID as well as Zero Trust concepts, least privilege access, phishing-resistant authentication, Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes, and access governance.
• You bring in-depth experience in Microsoft Security Operations, particularly with Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), including alert triage, investigation workflows, tracking of measures, and optimization of detections.
• You have practical experience in backup readiness and disaster recovery, support incident response, recovery tests, and system reconstruction, and derive sustainable improvements from security incidents.
• You have sound know-how in secure network and connectivity services such as segmentation, remote access, firewall/perimeter services, as well as in the stable operation of distributed infrastructures and convince with a strong hands-on mentality, architectural understanding, sense of responsibility, and very good English skills.

Responsibilities

• You operate and optimize fault-tolerant hybrid cloud platforms across Azure, storage, databases, backups, and workplace infrastructure.
• In this role, you will further shape the IT architecture and implement architecture and infrastructure projects in the Azure environment.
• You are responsible for identity and access management with Microsoft Entra ID according to Zero Trust and Least Privilege principles.
• As an IT infrastructure and security specialist, you manage security operations with Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel and continuously improve detection and protection mechanisms.
• In the event of a security incident, you will lead the operational incident response, coordinate escalations, and initiate recovery and improvement measures.
• In this role, you ensure backup and recovery readiness and provide robust, tested emergency and network concepts across all locations.
