Senior Technical Program Manager AI-Driven 5G & Network Automation

Job Summary

• Lead AI/ML-driven transformation of 5G RAN, Cloud RAN, and O-RAN networks, driving large-scale automation and cloud-native telecom modernization in a Tier-1 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of 5G, Cloud RAN, and network automation programs across global teams
• Drive AI/ML use cases for RAN optimization (energy, beam prediction, closed-loop control)
• Enable LLM-based interfaces for network operations and automation
• Define program roadmap, KPIs, governance, and execution strategy
• Oversee cloud-native, containerized RAN (CU/DU) and O-RAN integration (xApps/rApps, SMO)
• Collaborate with engineering, AI/ML, product, and operations teams
• Manage stakeholders, vendors, and executive communication
• Ensure delivery excellence, risk management, and process optimization

Required Experience

• 12 18+ years in telecom, wireless, or cloud infrastructure
• Experience in 5G or large-scale network transformation programs
• Tier-1 telecom or equivalent exposure

Technical Skills

• 5G RAN, Cloud RAN, O-RAN, SMO
• Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD
• AI/ML for network automation
• OSS/BSS systems

Education

Bachelor s/Master s in CS, EE, or related field (preferred advanced degree)
