Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join their dynamic team. This is a crucial on-site role responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging top-tier technical talent for a diverse range of clients across various industries. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the technology landscape, excellent interviewing skills, and a proven ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You will be responsible for understanding complex technical requirements, developing effective sourcing strategies, and ensuring timely placements. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their technical requirements and staffing needs.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates using various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach.
- Conduct thorough technical screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified technical talent for current and future openings.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Negotiate job offers and compensation packages with candidates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Stay informed about industry trends, market intelligence, and competitive compensation benchmarks.
- Provide market insights and recruitment advice to hiring managers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and strategies.
- Build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition matters.
- Participate in recruitment events and career fairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in technical recruiting, preferably within a recruitment agency or consultancy environment.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing candidates in hard-to-fill technical roles (e.g., software development, data science, cybersecurity, cloud engineering).
- Deep understanding of various technology stacks, programming languages, and IT concepts.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search).
- Excellent interviewing, assessment, and candidate evaluation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive, results-driven and possess a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience with client management and stakeholder engagement.
