Job Summary
Hands on experience with AWS Cloud migration testing. Hands-on experience in Data base and migration testing strategies. Must have life sciences and GxP application testing experience. Experience in handling large programs with multiple applications. Must be able to develop comprehensive migration planning. Experience in working on multi-vendor environment. Should be able to drive UAT testing with customers and end users. Experienced in agile methodology and tools. Must have good Oral and Written communication skills. Should guide offshore teams and be a servant leader. Must follow Hybrid work schedule meeting customers.
Key Responsibilities
- To design and implement test plans for complex features and modules.
- To utilize automation tools and frameworks to increase test efficiency , proactively advocate for timely fixes and quality assurance best practices.
- To identify, reproduce, and document software defects according to established procedures.
- To proactively partner with developers to analyze, prioritize, and verify defect resolutions, while actively participating in test reviews to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
- To stay up-to-date with the latest testing technology trends , contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks/ libraries and proactively Implement innovative testing approaches to address evolving software complexities.
- Leads the end-to-end testing strategy for transitioning on-premise systems to AWS. Key responsibilities include designing migration testing strategies, managing data validation, performance testing in the cloud, defect management, and coordinating between engineering, application, end users and cloud teams to ensure zero-downtime, secure, and reliable migration waves.
Skill Requirements
- 10+ years in QA leadership, with at least 3+ years specifically in AWS cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, AWS Migration Hub).
- Experience with migration validation strategies, including dry runs, cutover testing, and Data Centre Exit (DCE) programs.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, HP ALM, TOSCA, codeBeamer and automated testing frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage large, hybrid (onshore/offshore) teams in fast-paced Agile or hybrid environments.
- Define and execute a robust, risk-based testing strategy tailored to AWS migration patterns (rehost, replatform, refactor)
- Oversee testing across multiple migration waves to ensure application stability, performance, and data integrity
- Ensure accuracy during large-scale data migrations, validating data validation, replication progress, and security in the cloud environment.
- Performance & Security Assurance Oversee non-functional testing, specifically validating scalability, high availability, and adherence to security standards
- Act as a central point for stakeholders, delivering test metrics, reports, and risk assessments to senior leadership
- Guide and drive UAT strategy and support end users during execution.
Other Requirements
- Testing experience in Life sciences and GxP applications
- Drive automation using CI/CD tools to validate infrastructure changes dynamically.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range Minimum: $84,000 per year
- Pay Range Maximum: $202,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
