Join Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) as a Senior UI/UX Front-End Developer. The role focuses on delivering innovative user‑centric designs and seamless web applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis to enhance process improvements and define project requirements.
• Manage front‑end design and development tasks, including creating design drawings, wireframes, and documentation for user‑centric applications.
• Optimize Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) to ensure intuitive navigation and an exceptional user experience.
• Lead software development initiatives, utilizing expertise in modern development processes.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders through all project phases, ensuring alignment with user needs and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance (mandatory).
• Ability to work onsite in Ft. Meade, MD, up to five days a week.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree may count for 2 years of experience).
• 10 years of experience in software development, with expertise in object‑oriented and scripted programming languages.
• At least 5 years of direct experience in front‑end web development.
• Experience with bug‑tracking software such as Jira and testing web‑based applications.
• Strong background in using Jenkins and GitLab for development.
• Knowledge of at least five technologies from a provided list, including JavaScript, Node.js, and others.
• Proven experience in agile, user‑centered design with best‑in‑class UI/UX standards.
• Capability to produce detailed wireframes and test documentation ensuring compliance with project standards.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile Test‑Driven development methodologies.
• Experience within DevSecOps environments.
• Proficiency with UX design tools such as Sketch and InVision.
• Experience with CI/CD software development processes.
