About the role
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior User Experience (UX) Designer with a strong background in UX design and front-end development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and developing user-centered solutions for complex systems and have a strong understanding of human-computer interaction principles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points and write and maintain front-end code for implementing UX designs and ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
- Develop and maintain UX documentation, including design guidelines, style guides, technical plans, and milestones for UX deliverables, and user guides.
- Write and maintain front-end code to implement UX designs.
- Design and conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop front-end components using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end code with existing backend services.
- Ensure front-end code is optimized for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.
- Eight (08) years of direct/relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with UX design and front-end development for an Agentic Knowledge Management System.
