Job Title: Senior Virtualization Engineer and Windows OS EngineerLocation: Tshwane (Pretoria)Type: PermanentDuties and Responsibilities: • Design, implement and maintain virtualization infrastructure • Manage Windows operating systems and associated technologies • Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization and Windows OS issues • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system efficiency • Provide technical expertise and support

Qualification:

• Matric certificate • Certified MCP • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019. Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025. • Certified Microsoft Azure Administrator. • HPE Server and storage hardware qualifications will be an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Microsoft Hyper-V o Creating, deleting moving and managing virtual machines. o Creating, deleting and managing Virtual networks.

o Installing, configuring and managing Microsoft Failover Clusters o Microsoft Windows Server Security o Microsoft Windows Server maintenance. Patching, health checks and capacity management.

• VMware o Creating, deleting moving and managing virtual machines o Creating, deleting and managing Virtual machines o VMware clustering o VMware Security o VMware maintenance • Microsoft Failover Clusters o High Availability o Cluster Storage o Cluster Networking • Azure virtualization o IaaS o Virtual Networks o Server Security o Server maintenance • Windows Operating Systems. • Ability to do deep analysis on server performance and possible bottlenecks.

Experience:

• 5 7 years experience in: o Windows Operating Systems o Microsoft and VMware virtualization o Microsoft Failover Clustering • 2-4 years experience in Microsoft Azure
