**Job Description:**

As a skilled SRE - System Engineer at PhonePe, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of one of the world's largest fintech infrastructures. Your responsibilities will include:

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, with a strong background in the field. - Demonstrated expertise in computer networking and related technologies. - Utilization of a wide range of open source technologies, tools, and cloud services to support operations. - Implementation of best practices and IT operations to maintain an always-up, always-available service. - Active participation in the on-call rotation schedule to address any issues promptly. - Effective communication in English to collaborate with the team. - Strong knowledge of Linux networking, including IP, iptables, and IPsec. - Hands-on experience with MySQL databases, preferably with exposure to Mariadb and Percona. - Application of coding and scripting skills, with a preference for Perl, Python, or Golang. - Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools like SaltStack. - Practical experience with private cloud environments. • *Desirable Skills:**

In addition to the key requirements, familiarity with the following will be advantageous:
