About the role
About The Role & Team:
- Be part of the Edge Security team, supporting over 4000 global teams with new product launches, brand announcements, major events, and ongoing Edge Security initiatives.
- Engage in a collaborative environment with team members dispersed across multiple locations to effectively support our worldwide partners and brands.
- Work closely with Global Information Security teams, ensuring compliance with corporate standards, fulfilling audit requests, and aligning Disney Experiences brands with Disney Security standards.
What You'll Do:
- Participate in launch readiness efforts to secure applications during crucial periods.
- Assist in designing, building, and supporting product platforms that enhance our Guests' experiences.
- Collaborate with development teams to achieve secure and reliable outcomes for our brands.
- Utilize systems administration skills on Akamai, concentrating on KONA Site Defender, WAF configurations, and Bot Manager Premier.
- Support platforms while focusing on operational excellence, application stability, performance, and security.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance our security measures.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in working within an agile environment.
- Experience with Akamai's Bot Manager Premier, WAF, and KONA Site Defender products.
- Familiarity with both commercial and open-source monitoring platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Splunk and App-Dynamics.
- Skilled in code management, configuration, and deployment tools, particularly GitHub.
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledgeable in Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Apply security best practices to both application and infrastructure.
- Proficient in modern collaboration and code-management techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-demand releases and managing brand expectations.
- Knowledge of PCI audit and compliance standards.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field, along with equivalent work experience.
