Orcrist Technologies is hiring a Remote Site Reliability Engineer to accelerate rapid prototyping by automating environment setups and managing demo deployments. This role focuses on Kubernetes, GitOps, and infrastructure automation to ensure prototypes meet deployment constraints across cloud, on‑prem, and air‑gapped systems. Key tasks include building observability solutions and creating clear handoff packages for smooth productization.

Responsibilities

• Automate provisioning and teardown of prototype environments using Kubernetes and GitOps
• Manage reliable, observable demo deployments with rapid iteration
• Validate deployability constraints for air‑gapped, on‑prem, and cloud setups
• Build lightweight observability with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Create deployment specs, Helm charts, and runbooks for infrastructure handoff

Qualifications

• 4+ years SRE/platform engineering with Kubernetes and GitOps
• Experience with rapid environment provisioning and infrastructure automation
• Skills in validating air‑gapped and on‑prem deployment constraints early
• Strong technical writing for deployment and handoff documentation
• Eligibility to work in Germany; EU/NATO citizenship preferred
