About the role
Tanner US is looking for a creative and organized Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to help grow our online presence, create engaging content, and support our marketing efforts across social media, email, and our website.
We are a commercial furniture company serving schools, municipalities, healthcare facilities, office buildings, and other public and private sector clients. We are looking for someone who can help tell our story, promote our projects, and keep our brand active and professional online.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will help with:
Social Media Management
- Create and schedule content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
- Develop posts highlighting completed projects, product lines, company updates, trade shows, and industry news
- Help build Tanner’s brand awareness and online engagement
- Track social media performance and suggest improvements
SEO / Website Optimization
- Improve website content for search engine visibility
- Help optimize website pages, titles, descriptions, keywords, and blog content
- Research keywords related to commercial furniture, school furniture, municipal furniture, FF&E, office furniture, healthcare furniture, and related markets
- Assist with improving Tanner’s visibility on Google and other search platforms
Email Marketing
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns
- Help design and write email blasts for customers, prospects, architects, school districts, municipalities, and healthcare clients
- Organize contact lists and campaign schedules
- Track open rates, click rates, and campaign results
Content Creation
- Write captions, short articles, project highlights, and marketing copy
- Turn project photos, product information, and company updates into polished marketing content
- Help create a consistent monthly content calendar
Graphic Design / Creative Work
- Create basic graphics, flyers, social media visuals, and email layouts
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a plus
- Ability to make content look clean, professional, and on-brand
Website Development / Website Updates
- Help maintain and update the company website
- Add new content, project pages, product information, photos, blogs, and landing pages
- Basic experience with website platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or similar platforms is a plus
- Ability to coordinate with outside website developers if needed
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media for a business or brand
- Strong writing and content creation skills
- Understanding of SEO basics
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Graphic design ability is a strong plus
- Website development or website management experience is a strong plus
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Comfortable working with a business-to-business company
- Experience in furniture, construction, architecture, design, education, government, or healthcare markets is a plus, but not required
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is creative but also practical. This person should be able to take photos, project updates, product information, and company ideas and turn them into professional marketing content. The right candidate should be able to work independently, bring ideas to the table, and help Tanner build a stronger digital presence.
