A software development project/program manager (PM) to orchestrate software development lifecycle (SDLC) by defining project scope, setting budgets, managing timelines, and aligning technical teams with business objectives. They facilitate communication between developers and stakeholders, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery using methodologies like Agile or Scrum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Scope Management: Defining project goals, creating detailed plans, and avoiding “scope creep.”
  • Team Leadership and Resource Allocation: Assigning tasks to developers, designers, and QA engineers, managing team morale, and removing roadblocks.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential technical or logistical issues early and implementing contingency plans.
  • Budgeting and Scheduling: Managing costs and ensuring the project adheres to deadlines.
  • Communication and Reporting: Acting as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders/clients, providing regular progress updates.
  • Quality Assurance (QA) Coordination: Ensuring the software meets specifications by collaborating with testers and overseeing deployment.
