We’re inviting high‑caliber Software Engineers from top‑tier institutions with relevant work experience in Software Development Domain to collaborate with us. This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity for engineers with 3–10 years of experience in Product companies who value technical depth, ownership, and flexibility. Contribute on your own schedule, without leaving your full‑time role and work on real, high‑impact engineering that actively trains and advances frontier AI.

As a Software Engineer at Bespoke Labs AI, you will work on systems that power large‑scale AI training and execution. This is the role where your engineering decisions have direct impact on both production systems and model performance.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain core backend systems for AI training and task execution
• Design and operate scalable, high‑throughput services handling millions of tasks per week
• Develop distributed workflows and compute orchestration systems
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers and model engineers to ship end‑to‑end solutions
• Take ownership of production systems in a fast‑paced, execution‑driven environment

What We Are Looking For

• 3 - 10 years of professional software engineering experience
• Mandatory experience in building 0–1 products within leading Product companies
• Experience building and operating systems at scale
• Strong fundamentals in systems design, data structures, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with modern stacks such as Python and Go, databases, and async systems
• Comfortable working in high‑ownership startup environments
• Computer Science / CS background from top tier college or an equivalent college or university is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay rates for core project work are up to $50‑$110 per hour (Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors).
