About Relayer

We are Relayer, an AI-native SaaS platform building in a large, underserved market. We are a small, high-output founding team backed by deep industry knowledge and strong technical ambition, and we are hiring a Software Engineer, AI to help build the product from the ground up. This is a founding-level role with direct influence on technical strategy and company direction, and you will join a team that has real operating experience in the space, including co-founders who built products at Twilio and GitLab.

Requirements

• We are looking for 2+ years of experience building production web applications in a professional environment using modern TypeScript/JavaScript.
• We want strong full-stack fundamentals and hands-on experience with our core stack, including Next.js, React, tRPC, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and Bun.
• We need comfort working with AI and ML systems, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and embedding AI capabilities into product workflows.
• We value prior experience in B2B SaaS, especially multi-tenant platforms with role-based access, audit trails, and data separation.
• We are looking for sound API design skills and the ability to build dependable integrations with third-party systems.
• We prefer candidates with a startup mindset who take ownership, move quickly, communicate clearly, and prioritize outcomes over process.
• Nice to have: familiarity with enterprise compliance requirements such as SOC 2, CCPA, or audit trail implementation.
• Nice to have: experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
• Nice to have: experience collaborating closely with designers in Figma to deliver polished product experiences.

Responsibilities

• We will have you build AI-powered workflows with intelligent automation, orchestration, and multi-channel communication.
• We will rely on you to create full-stack product features for a multi-tenant SaaS platform with enterprise-grade security and SOC 2 readiness.
• We will expect you to develop integrations with complex business systems, including real-time data synchronization and reliable orchestration.
• We will ask you to design and deliver analytics dashboards and predictive intelligence features that provide actionable customer insights.
• We will have you build customer-facing portals and embeddable components that extend our platform into partner ecosystems.
• We will expect you to own important product surfaces end to end, from database schema through production UI.
• We will have you work directly with our CEO, engineers, and designers to ship meaningful features for real customers.

Salary

• $105,000 - 150,000 per year
